Matt Edwards, AKA Radio Slave ha mezclado el nuevo compilado del clásico sello de New York Strictly Rhythms.

En sus propias producciones como Radio Slave, los sonidos de Edwards se han adaptado a lo moderno, a menudo con un repetitivo house y techno o lo que él describe como 'música sistemática'. Pero cualquiera que haya escuchado sus sets como DJ puede afirmar que su gusto en general tiene una fuerte influencia del house clásico.

Strictly Rhythms Vol. 5 está conformado por dos discos completamente diferentes, 'Downtown Mix' es un low-tempo, ideal para el afterhours, mientras que 'Uptown Mix' mantiene un estilo más vibrante.

El compilado tiene en total 23 cortes clásicos, 18 de los cuales han sido re-editados por Edwards para que se adapten major a su estilo down despojado. Le siguen ediciones pasadas de Charles Webster, Michel Cleis, Kenny Dope y Mr. V.
